SeminarsThe Center offers many technology transfer courses designed to assist engineers, architects, or marketing and sales personnel in understanding HVAC&R technology and operations. We are associated with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Engineering Professional Development which offers many courses on HVAC&R technologies and installations. Many of our staff teach courses for UW-EPD as well as for the HVAC&R Center. The HVAC&R Center, once a technology center for the Electric Power Research Center (EPRI), has an extensive history of providing training and support to electric utility personnel. Center staff can provide the training and information necessary for marketing personnel to develop energy efficiency/demand side management programs to promote the reduction of energy consumption by HVAC equipment and supply the skills to sales representatives to sell and support those programs. The HVAC &R Center can provide any of the courses listed on the Engineering Professional Development department's website or custom tailor a course for your needs. Some of our more popular titles include: Introduction to Industrial Refrigeration, Introduction to HVAC, and HVAC for Electric Utility Marketing Personnel. For a list of current courses, visit the UW-EPD website at epdweb.engr.wisc.edu. | ||
